Itinerary
Your journey down Margaret River begins at 9.30am with pick up at the visitors centre or 9.40am at the Margaret
River Mouth if you have transport. Enjoy exhilarating views of Surfer’s point and the river meeting the ocean.
Your guide will equipt each guest and provide professional assistance. 10.15am tour guests depart into the river
valley, past cliffs, caves, pioneer and aboriginal sites, by canoe.

As no motor craft are permitted on the river, the healthy native eco system with rare public access, boasts clean,
clear water, prevellent wildlife, unique forests and tranquil waters.
Lunch is served and wild foods fully explained by 1pm. Paddle upstream past forested kangaroo habitats and
learn the history of our first native inhabitants and the trials of the famous Bussell family of Busselton. Unique
photo sites, fun in the sun. Meander home or race for the Margaret River wine to Surfer’s Beach at 2pm.

Tours depart from the Margaret Rivermouth, Prevelly Beach, 12 km from Margaret River. 10 am till 2.00 pm daily.
Please be 15 minutes early at the orange sign. Please bring: shoes, water, hat, summer bathers, camera.
